15-EQ - (1980-1987)

1964 GMC 7500/Adam Black

Originally one of the few departments in the region to have a Hurst Jaws-of-Life Tool, the Sloatsburg Fire Department saw a dramatic increase in the amount of rescue-related incidents in the late 1970s/early 1980s. As a result, the purchase of 15-EQ from the Monsey Fire Department was a long overdue upgrade from the Chevy Cargo van the department was previously operating with.
